About Us
On November 26, 1976, the Rotary Club of Bridgenorth Ennismore Lakefield (BEL) was chartered at the Pines Pavilion in Bridgenorth, with 22 members, guests and local dignitaries present. The legacy of service and fellowship began.
Today, the club makes its mark locally and internationally. In addition to projects including adopt a family, Rotary Park, the Bridgenorth Rotary Trail and the eco shed at Chemong School, the club was one of the lead clubs in the district in our work in the Dominican Republic, built the Rotary School of Cambodia and has refurbished and put in water systems in Nepal.
In the words of Charter President Bob, “Rotary is about “doing good while having fun”. BEL Rotary is an amazing “family” that works together and plays together.
