Programs and Services

PHS offers education and community programs for different age groups. PAWesome Kids Camp gives children ages 7 to 10 a chance to learn about humane education.

In addition, the camp includes animal visits, crafts, and animal-themed activities. PHS also offers PA Day camps, birthday parties, tours, and event space options.

These programs help people learn about animal care and wellness. They also show the work happening at the Peterborough Animal Care Centre.

Community Purpose

Peterborough Humane Society plays an important role in animal welfare and community education. Through its programs, it helps people understand animals, responsible pet care, and compassion.

Also, the organization creates ways for the community to connect with animals. As a result, people can support local animal care and learn about humane treatment.

The Humane Society also supports pet owners through helpful services and public education. Therefore, its work benefits both animals and the people who care for them.
