Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Program
Organization Summary
Come BLAZE with the Komets!
Since 2009, The Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Program has offered children and adults in our community the opportunity to come together and share their love of hockey! We have teams based on skill level (not age) and provide the most amazing opportunity for friendship, team-sport, social skills and engagement, skill development and FUN.
We are a Registered Charity completely run by volunteers – at the Board level and, at the RINK!
We are ALWAYS in need of volunteers who share a love of any of the following:
Hockey
Coaching
Special Needs
Marketing
Event Planning
Program Coordination
Business
Skating Instruction
Fundraising
Office Administration
Social Media …. the list goes on!
Mostly Saturday mornings at the rink, or Monday evenings at the Board, we would love to have you share your skills or talents to support the most AMAZING set of players you’ll ever meet!!
