Specific Tasks / Responsibilities
Position Duties:
Answer queries and provide information about volunteer roles and opportunities at the Pawd Level.
Email volunteer applicants the required application forms and Police Record Check reference letter and other pertinent information to complete the process.
Liaise with the National Volunteer Coordinator on the application process.
Be the follow-up contact for new volunteers.
Maintain and update the Pawd Volunteer list and contact info. And share with Pawd Coordinators and the National Volunteer Coordinator.
Liaise with Pawd Coordinators to ensure volunteers are utilized according to the volunteer’s interests and strengths.
Co-ordinate Orientation Sessions for new volunteers.
Goals & Objectives
Work with Volunteer Applicants to complete the application process promptly and efficiently.
Community Impact
Supporting and Serving Aging People, Aging Dogs
Honouring and Preserving the Human-Animal Bond
Volunteer Outcomes
Understand and follow the Credo and Values of ElderDog Canada.
