Our Medical First Responder unit is made up of well-trained and well-equipped, St. John Ambulance volunteers. They are invited to be present at countless public events to provide basic and advanced care when emergencies occur. By being there, St. John Ambulance volunteer Medical First Responders are “first on the scene” and the “first to respond” in the critical minutes until medical assistance arrives. Nationally, our volunteers are present at tens of thousands of events per year. Locally, you can find us at car shows, fishing derbies, tractor pulls and seasonal fairs.
